Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian TV presenter and actress. Her most well-known work is the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra Maria Lara was born as the only son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. At the age of 16 and a leading role in several television dramas. The role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, from Downfall (an Oscar-nominated wartime historical film) was both critically and commercially acclaimed. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also nominated for Oscars. Alexandra is well known for her involvement in many noteworthy projects both domestically as well as internationally. The projects include British biographical feature Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. She has also been a juror at the Transylvania International Film Festival as in at the Cannes Film Festival.
